Dr. Giles N.Th. de Quincey
Graduated from the Dental School, Medical Faculty of the University of Nijmegen, the Netherlands in 1987.
In 1990 he completed his Post-Graduate Training in Periodontology at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Returning to the Netherlands he started a Private Referral Practice Limited to Periodontics and Oral Implantology. In the past nearly 30 years this practice has expanded to include Reconstructive Dentistry.
In 1994 he passed the Oral examination of the American Board of Periodontology and since 1995 he is an EFP-accredited
Periodontist. He is an active member of the Dutch Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Dutch Society of Peridodontology.
From 1992-2010 he was part-time clinical instructor in the EFP-accredited programme Post-Graduate Periodontology at the University of Nijmegen. In 2010 this was converted to a Post-Graduate Programme Reconstructive Dentistry.
Since 2017 he is a part-time clinical instructor (Associate Clinical Professor) in the EFP-accredited programme Post Graduate Periodontology at the University of Bern, Switzerland.
He has lectured internationally with a focus on minimally invasive oral plastic surgery and aesthetic dental implant reconstruction. Giles is married and has three sons
